  • How would you describe the cooking experience?

    Creative, innovative, hands-on and enormous fun. The classes are small enough for you to get the help you need to learn and develop at a relaxed pace set by yourself.

    How many people in each class?

    A maximum of twelve, organised into smaller groups.

    How much cooking will I actually do?

    You can participate in cookery classes each day and be as creative and involved as you like. But if you prefer, you can simply observe, or lie by the pool with a Negroni!

    Will the classes be suitable for me?

    Yes. We cater to all levels of experience. More seasoned cooks will learn how to hone and improve their craft; beginners or the foodie-curious can learn at their own pace. Our classes are suitable for couples, friends travelling, singles and honeymooners alike. The essence of the classes is to enjoy them and learn.

    Do I have to be an experienced cook to enjoy the week?

    No. Most participants are food enthusiasts who enjoy cooking and meeting people. The level of expertise is not important; some of our guests come with none, others are very experienced. Our chefs are highly skilled at teaching mixed ability groups to ensure that everyone leaves inspired, with exciting new dishes and recipes to try at home.

    What happens if I have special food requirements?

    Your dietary requirements will be accommodated. Please let us know in advance of any allergies.

    What outings and trips will we do?

    Several. Depending on where you are staying, you might take a private boat ride to an exclusive wine resort or explore a working masseria dating back to Roman times. Wherever you are, you will benefit from all the hidden gems we’ve discovered that are not available to the general public.

    What wines will be available?

    Outstanding regional wines that have been selected to accompany and enhance your culinary experience.

    What language are the classes?

    All classes are taught in English, but you will have ample opportunity to practise and improve your language skills during the week, should you wish.

    How do I get from the airport to the villa?

    We will pick you up on our scheduled transfer from the arrivals hall and transfer you to the location by luxury air-conditioned coach.

    Private transfers can be quoted and arranged at different times.

    What do I have to pay for when I’m with you?

    Everything is inclusive, you can leave your wallet at home!

    What should I wear?

    We suggest comfortable clothing for the cooking classes. You might like to bring walking shoes (the surrounding areas have outstanding walks), a warm jumper in case of cooler evenings, and a light rain mac in the unlikely event of rain.
