Whether taking a private boat out to sample a remarkable single grape variety wine in the Venetian lagoon, searching for the perfect pastarelle in the meandering Baroque jewel of Lecce, indulging in local cheeses at a tutored tasting by a 6th generation producer or simply working up an appetite in the pool before a candlelit al fresco dinner, our role is to gently immerse you in the food and culture of this extraordinary country, creating an entirely unique and authentic experience.

Whether preparing ricotta tortelloni with burnt walnut pesto and roast guinea fowl with salsa peverada in the foothills of the Dolomites or using the outdoor oven to bake fresh fish and tomatoes with rosemary infused focaccia for an al fresco dinner in Puglia, Stirred cookery holidays always have a natural focus on stunning seasonal produce.

Whether travelling alone, en famille or with friends, Villa Casagrande and the Puglia masseria both offer the most beautiful settings in which to immerse oneself in the culture and culinary splendour of the region.

Hands-on cookery classes are innovative, adventurous and inclusive, creating a natural bond and focus on teamwork whilst leaving plenty of time to relax amongst friends with a Negroni or Aperol Spritz. 

What’s included?

We like to think that we have carefully considered every detail to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. From the moment you arrive until your departure we will ensure everything is taken care of. The only lifting you’ll have to do is in the kitchen.

Our cookery courses include six nights’ accommodation, all classes, food, wine, trips, tours and tastings and transfers to and from specific airports at recommended pick-up and departure times. The price does not include flights. Private transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.
