There are eight spacious double or twin bedrooms at Villa Casagrande, each individual in style and size and with views either onto the gardens or the village piazza and mountains. Truly palatial in feel, they blend designer touches in the decor with antique furniture and original features.
The rooms are equipped with beds built for comfort and adorned with crisp Italian linens, as well as their own beautifully appointed bathrooms. Every detail will allow for a wonderfully indulgent stay.
The rest of the Villa
The reception rooms, with their original frescoed ceilings, are the perfect spot to relax with a Spritz before dinner. In the dining room, an oval table shaped from locally sourced white marble acts as a beautiful centrepiece where dinner is served in the evenings and breakfast in the mornings.
Cookery classes are held in the state of the art kitchen, a vast and airy space with polished stone floors, oak-beamed ceiling and a Venetian fireplace. The kitchen opens directly onto the beautifully kept walled gardens of the villa.
The Villa is surrounded by elegant walled gardens that flow effortlessly through a carefully manicured rose garden onto well tended lawns with a vast chestnut tree and orchard.
A dip in the swimming pool, with the foothills of the Dolomites as its backdrop, is the perfect way to work off a sumptuous lunch or to build up an appetite for an al fresco dinner.
The entrance to Villa Casagrande faces onto the main piazza of the village of Cison di Valmarino. The big, burnt-red doors and matching shutters open onto the stunning mountains which rise steeply beyond the confines of the village.
